A lot of gold is wasted while making an ornament and Artisans/ karigars charge a free for the Gold wasted inthe process of making the ornament known asWastage Charges besides making.
We at MKJEWELS charge 8% wastage on 18K jewellery and 6% on 22K of pure Gold value which is included in our Gold Price.
18K purity is 75% , Gold rate is calculated at 83%(75+8)
22K Purity is 92% , Gold rate is calculated at 98% (92+6)
for example 100% Pure Gold rate is 4800 Per gram , Then 22K only Gold price for 92% will be 4416 and our ornament sale rate inclusive of wastage would be 4704 per gram , for 22K only Gold price for 75% will be 3600 and our , ornament sale rate inclusive of wastage would be 3984 per gram
